DAVINCI. Development AI

Enterprise AI & platform engineering

We have already run the systems you are trying to build.

Most outsourcing sells you capacity. We sell you judgment: principal-led delivery of production systems, scoped by people who have owned a P&L and a delivery organization, not a proposal.

Folio I — Position

Most outsourcing sells you capacity. We sell you judgment.

DaVinci Development has built software for United States clients since 2020. DaVinci Development AI is the arm we spun up for a specific reason: enterprises are now buying AI programs, and AI programs fail for reasons that have nothing to do with models.

They fail on data plumbing, on evaluation, on security review, on the seam between a demo and a system that carries revenue. Our principals have run those seams at Qualys, Rapid7, ConnectWise, Verint and TCS — at the scale where getting it wrong is a board-level event.

So we staff differently. Every engagement is anchored by a principal who has personally owned a P&L, a delivery org, or both. The delivery bench sits across the United States, India and Brazil, and it is ours — not a marketplace.

The firm is led by founder Thiago DeSouza, who holds ownership positions across a portfolio of operating companies built on software he commissioned. He sponsors every engagement personally.

Folio II — Experience our principals bring

Career-scale experience, attributed.

These are achievements our principals earned at prior employers, not DaVinci engagements. We keep the distinction visible because the buyers we want will check — and because it is the experience they are actually buying access to.

Folio IV — What we own

Six things we will take accountability for.

We take work where the hard part is engineering, not headcount. If a request is genuinely a staffing request, we will tell you and point you elsewhere.

Agentic AI & LLM systems

Autonomous workers that survive audit

Agents scoped to a real business process, with inspectable retrieval, deterministic escalation and a human checkpoint wherever money or liability moves.

Data, MLOps & decisioning

The layer everything else depends on

Data lakes, ingestion, feature pipelines and model operations. Usually the real project once the diagnostic is done.

Platform & cloud engineering

Systems that survive their own success

Legacy decomposition, cloud-native rebuilds, high-availability microservices, and migrations planned so the business never sits on a hard cutover.

Product engineering

Built to a product standard

Web, mobile and progressive web applications, integration layers and the internal tooling that operations actually run on.

Security & AI governance

Where AI programs usually stall

Threat modeling for LLM pipelines, governance frameworks, vulnerability telemetry and support through your own security review.

Global capability centers

Built, operated, transferred

Entity, hiring, facilities, compliance and leadership bench — then a clean handover. You end up owning the center, not renting it.

Detail on each line is on the Services page.

Folio V — How delivery works

Diagnostic, architecture, build, transfer.

The same four phases on every engagement, in that order. Most production implementations begin in the low six figures; exact pricing follows discovery.

01

Diagnostic

A principal and a senior engineer assess your systems, data and constraints and return a written point of view: the real bottleneck, what we would build, what we would not, and where the schedule risk sits. Fixed fee, credited against the build.

1–3 weeks
02

Architecture & plan

Target architecture, integration map, security constraints, acceptance criteria and a staged delivery plan your own engineers can argue with.

2–4 weeks
03

Production build

Two-week sprints, a demo every sprint, working software in your environment from sprint two, a named technical lead and a principal sponsor throughout.

Sized at architecture
04

Launch, stabilize, transfer or operate

Deployment, monitoring, runbooks, training and a stabilization window where incidents are ours. Then managed support or full handover — decided at kickoff, not after.

Agreed at kickoff

Full method, standards and cost drivers on How we deliver.

Folio VI — Enterprise standards

Answers your procurement team will ask for anyway.

You own the code

Client-funded work, client-owned source and IP on payment, subject to the final agreement.

Your environment, your repos

We deploy into your cloud tenancy and work in your Git organization where required.

Documented handover

Architecture, runbooks and integration docs as deliverables with acceptance criteria.

Named accountability

A principal sponsor and technical lead by name, with role-level redundancy behind them.

Including AI data handling, access and secrets, security review and insurance — all on How we deliver.

Folio VII — Fit

What we turn down.

We would rather lose the deal in week one than the relationship in month nine.

Pure staff augmentation

If the request is a rate card and a headcount number with no engineering problem attached, a body shop will serve you better and cheaper. We will name one.

AI with no business case

If the project exists because the board asked what the AI strategy is, we will say so and propose the smaller thing that would actually pay for itself.

Fixed price on unknown scope

We will not quote a number before the diagnostic. Anyone who does is either guessing or pricing in the change orders they expect to bill you for.

References are available to qualified prospective clients, subject to client approval.

Including a direct conversation with an operating executive
at a named client, arranged once an NDA is in place.
